Meraki Candles Unboxing: January Crime & Punishment

January is all about the bookish boxes now that I'm fully into the swing of reading and bookstagraming! I bought the Fairyloot Mystery & Mischief box in December, and the Meraki Candles Crime & Punishment box for the month of January and I'm so excited for both of them. You can never have enough bookish items, especially when they come with candles and tea! I'd seen pictures of Heather's candles and how amazing they were, so I jumped at the chance of trying some of her items out. Let's take a look at what I got!

  • Auror Soy Candle: tangerine, cinnamon and patchouli
  • Scarlet Guard Soy Candle: strawberries, gardenia and lily
  • Peace Keepers Soy Candle: fresh cucumbers and melon
  • Drüskelle Soy Candle: violet, cedar and musk
  • Hush Hush Tea & Tea Filters from The Tea Leaf Company
  • Sherlock Mirror by Goodnight Boutique
  • Sherlock Inspired Bookmark by The Graduated Bookmark
  • Six of Crows Inspired Coaster by The Book Otter

What a fantastic box! Before I'd even opened this box, I could smell the candles oozing out and up my nose. I can't describe it but it made me feel so wonderful. I'm so picky with scents that I was a bit nervous going in, especially as some of these scents are so bizarre to put together, but they all smelt incredible which is high praise coming from me! They're all honestly my favourite, but if I had to pick one that I'd have a full size of, I think it'd have to be Peace Keepers because asdfghjkl it's just so fresh and delicious! I'm a huge fan of fresh (not linen) and citrus scents and this ticks every box for me. I'm definitely going to have to buy one of Heather's full size candles now!

The remainder of goodies inside this box are amazing. I'm not a huge fan of mint tea, so that's a shame but I'll definitely try it out with this fab bag loose leaf tea. My particular favourite (aside from the candles and tea) was the Six of Crows inspired coaster. I haven't read it yet, but I still love this design and the infamous quote from the characters in the book.

This box was my first from Meraki Candles, but by no means the last because Heather is a scent genius! I bought this for £17.99 excluding shipping which was great value - plus I love giving back to little businesses, especially when they're bookish related!
