April Book Haul
This is a slightly different post for me here on my blog and that's due to the fact that I never buy myself books really so I don't see the need for a book haul post but this month I have a boatload of books to share with you. I thought I'd cheer myself up at the beginning of the month by buying a few books and before I knew it, I was a little out of control (for me, at least) but it's all in good fun.
This month I picked up an array of different books that were both newly on my radar and ones I've been lusting after for a while, and one replacement of a book I already own because hell knows my OCD was flaring up with one book out of a series being the wrong height!

- Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
- Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare (Re-released Limited Edition)
- A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
- History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
- A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
- City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
History is All You Left Me and The Hate U Give are newly on my radar and I picked them up once I heard all of the great reviews. Both are contemporaries which I'm not a huge fan of and only tend to read in the summer, but I can say The Hate You Give was fantastic which you can check out my review for! The Cassandra Clare picks have been on my radar for a while as I'm a huge fan of her. City of Fallen Angels I both own and have read previously but it was a different edition to the rest of my books so it was the wrong size. Lady Midnight I haven't had the necessity to read since it starts off the back of City of Heavenly Fire, the last book in The Mortal Instruments series which I never finished so now I'm doing my reread of the series, I can read this straight afterwards! ACOTAR and ACOMAF have been on my radar for a while but I've never had the want to read them as I was very aware the first book was a Beauty and the Beast retelling which I'm not about, however I've been told the second book is worth struggling through the first for so I caved. Finally, Stalking Jack the Ripper has been on my TBR since last autumn, I believe, after hearing great things about it. It's set in London in the Victorian era which is my absolute favourite so I just had to pick it up once I saw it going cheap!
Two of these I've already read, one I'm currently reading, and the rest I'm hoping to get to soon. Don't expect many of these book hauls, but I thought it would be fun to do whilst I treated myself last month so I hope you enjoyed. I can't wait to tuck into these!
